IIOM US Chapter Members Meeting

The International Institute of Obsolescence Management (IIOM) is a not-for-profit organization that exists to advance the science and practice of Obsolescence Management and DMSMS management. In June 2019, the IIOM US Chapter was officially created and signed its delegation agreement as an official chapter within IIOM International. IIOM US and IIOM International are dedicated to:
  • Advance the science and practice of DMSMS and Obsolescence Management
  • Promote and recognize high standards of practice and professional competence
  • Open opportunities for development and career paths for practitioners of Obsolescence Management
  • Generate widespread awareness and understanding of the discipline improving the knowledge and best practice of Obsolescence practitioners through education, networking and process development
All PMMC attendees are welcome to attend. The IIOM US members meeting will cover the latest IIOM US Chapter and international organizational news, reviewing 2021 goals and setting the US Chapter goals for 2022, official voting for IIOM US officers, and setting plans and dates for the 2022 US Chapter meetings. Additional topics to be discussed are IIOM initiatives including updates to the IEC 62402 International Standard, conformity assessment for companies and organizations practicing Obsolescence Management IAW IEC 62402, and tailoring IIOM professional development training classes for the United States.
